ABOUT LANDFALL

Landfall Audio Arts is a small media company based in Anchor Point, AK, the most westerly town on the North American highway system.

Landfall Radio, a podcast intended to be a bi-weekly offering of one hour or less of Imagination, Challenging inspiration, and Encouraging storytelling, is the flagship production of LAA.

Landfall Radio will combine the timeless power of old time radio storytelling with the modern format and opportunities of podcasting.

Barnabas Firth hosts the show from a small trailer renovated into a recording studio. The show is intended to be mobile, crossing the country and interviewing ordinary people living extraordinary lives.

There will be segments of fictional storytelling, including tall tales of a unique town... somewhere... in America.

There is a dream of Landfall one day branching into stage, film, and education. The possibilities are endless, as technology connects us and provides new opportunities every year.

No matter where the future goes, we will always need stories that connect us, inspire us, and ground us to timeless principles.

Welcome to Landfall Audio Arts.

About Barnabas

Barnabas Firth was born in PA, but raised in Fairbanks, AK.

Home-schooled till high-school graduation, he was able to focus more time on incredibly essential subjects such as cosmological theory and political strategizing, which most children do not get assigned in school. Unfortunately, the only subject he flunked was English. He is now a writer/podcaster. Figures.

He worked as a maintenance man in a large assisted living home for over four years when one day an idea for a podcast popped in his head. He then quit the rewarding job to follow the insane idea.

In addition to being capable in the healing of plumbing woes, he has had the opportunity to pursue some art in the tradition of his family.

A great highlight of his life was being able to carve ice in the World Ice Art Championships in Fairbanks, AK with his championship-winning dad. Their piece, which Barnabas designed, won First Place in the Single Block Abstract Division.

Barnabas is only alive and able to work and enjoy life and hope for the future because of the love and grace of Jesus Christ.
